Tens of thousands of people lose their lives everyday to starvation, war (mostly caused by the west) disease, poverty (increasingly seen but ignored in the UK) etc, but people moan about about not been able to access AB.
Is there something wrong here?

Nailit, there really is no comparison.

Some people just don't like change or anything different from what they've been used too,for years. They feel threatened and maybe anxious about it.....For those who adapt to it, it is a reasonably simple, if at first slightly daunting, task.
Once up and away, they wonder why all the fuss.....The site AB Editor is trying his best to answer any questions, queries, problems, and troubleshooting we may experience in this initial changeover.....
Hopefully even those who don't like the site design will stay and advise the AB editor of maybe how it can be improved to suit their needs.
The comparison with war,disease,starvation etc, is really not a valid one, in this particular case. Just an opinion, nailit :-)
