look good to me. Look good on the beach too, I should think.
And what is wrong with that?

I personally don't see the problem with that.

If the law and order meted out to the rest of us comes from people who think antiquated religious practices remain, in the 21st century, worthy of observance, I have to question their rationale.
Oh FGS!!
Problem Islay?

The Scots hadith coming...

Hi ag, nice to see you. You've been missed. :o)
If adding this form of attire to uniform helps to break down the acknowledged barriers between the police and various ethnic communities, it can only be a good thing.

The argument that it is based on 'twelfth-century oppression blah blah blah' means nothing.

The police have to deal with the situations on the street as they are, not an academic and meaningless debate about subjugation.

If this assists the police, then let's see what happens, if not, it is perfectly possible to take it away again.
Hi Naomi,thanks :)

People may be unsettled from certain street angles i.e using radios, pressing buttons, exposed wires to earpieces etc etc
We've seen this hoax before.
