My daughter moved into Housing Assc. flat 6 months ago, decorated etc she now started finding beetles in the kitchen and bathroom, has found as many as 4 in one day. Looked it on web and it looked like woodworm. Anybody had to deal with this and I was also worried what kind of response she would get from Housing Assc.

It would be best to get an expert to take a look. It could just be the good old biscuit beetle, which is easy to control with insecticide spray: http://cms.walsall.gov.uk/index/environment/pest_control/biscuit_beetle.htm

Thanks for your answer, they are alike but she has only found these on the floor not on any work tops. but we have got one in a jar to show the housing and see what they say. Thanks again.

Could they be wood lice ?
Completely harmless.
You rarely see woodworm, bodeker, (common furniture beetle)... just the flight holes and little piles of dust.

I'd go with Uncle Chris's suggestion. They do like Corn Flakes ;o)
