currently driving a citreon ds3, its small light easy to park and economical. though it just doesnt feel solid like an audi or bmw. it is a late 2011 model. i bought it for 12000 cash one off payment. it has free tax for life and is easy on deisel. i will maybe be lucky to get 8000 for it now although it has low milage 132.000.

now i fancy something bigger, but it has to be economical. i will be travelling around uk in it from job to job though not nessesarilly racking up loads of miles. i just fancy something big with tow bar etc ( if i can sleep in it the odd night all the better lol ) i miss camping in summer something that i cant do with the citreon as i cant put tow bar on.

your thoughts and advice please

132000 is not low mileage.
I've asked around and 132,000 miles ain't low mileage.
A Citroen C4 Picasso has seats that fold flat and give you somewhere to kip and the diesel models are not bad on fuel..They'll take a towbar.

If you are travelling around DD why don't you buy a Campervan? the do not De-crease but In-crease in value, a VW. Transit Conversion etc.
You will not do better than a Skoda Superb or Octavia.
My 2.0l Superb estate is solid as a rock and on a par with an Audi A6.
It is diesel and gives 60mpg if I dont speed.
I had an Octavia before and that was almost as good.
Dont just trust me They are both Which Best Buys!"
Skoda Fabia Greenline Estate.
81.3 mpg. Large fold down seat luggage area. Was no VEL but will be taxed from now on due to Osbourne's budget.
My son has just bought a Kia Carens Diesel 7 seater. .44,000 miles. 7 years old .
Loads of space. Under £4,000.
We have a Citroen C4 grande Picasso, 1600 diesel, excellent car and economical, we have had it for 3 years and really cant fault a thing, we are changing it next month for the later version of the same model. we also tow a trailer with ours, not a problem. loads of room in the back, especially with all the seats folded flat.
