I have put in a post which I think I have termed right & then only to find after posting, I've said that wrong, gone about it the wrong way around but it's too late to reverse it, have you done it / been there?

I think I once, during bad weather, I told Dave or Tony to get their willies out.....

Didn't take long to correct it to wellies......but not quickly enough to prevent some leg pulling....☺

TWR...I agree with you at 18:13. AB's Trolls are always quick to pounce on me, if I make the slightest posting error, such as a typo or a spelling mistake. But it gives them something to do, poor things, because they rarely, if ever, have anything else to say of any worth !

On a couple of occasions I have put in a response that someone has disagreed with, and they have responded in (what I would call) an unnecessary manner, trying in some way to belittle what I've said. I find this a tad uncomfortable. But, there are cliques on this site it seems, so I'll rise above it.

You have an Edit Feature now, firstly know what you want to say then proof read it as you type or immediately after typing before you hit the Submit Button and you have yourself an Edited Post, simples!

The repeated use of the term 'troll' is becoming wearisome when used to describe a dissenter.

I agree with Baldric regarding the edit function. Some posters miss the alternative interpretations of their posts and some deliberately exploit the ambiguity. The former I can forgive the latter less so.

Eccles, all you have to do to become a Troll is not to 'Toe the Party line according unto Mikey' who to be fair is the nearest thing to a troll on here!
