Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

That was quite a workout (and my mind needed a bit more exercise after an easy Listener this week). Very fair clues, I thought, and quite a pleasing endgame. I say "quite" rather than "very" because I can't make up my mind whether what could be interpreted as an unsatisfactory feature of the completed grid is really a thematic pun. Whichever it is, many thanks to Kcit for an enjoyable afternoon.

That was brill. I thought great throughout, and although I can see what ahearer is referring to, I do not see it as a problem. If intended as visual pun then that is superb. Enjoyed it lots, more than listener this week (which also liked). Had child who kept being sick today, so not able to sit and savour at one stretch, but worth the continued returns to finish it. Thank you Kcit.

i must be thick this week, because I'm totally baffled, despite solving most of the clues. I'm assuming that there are some blank squares and some with 2 letters in, but which? Apart from a tentative stab at the top left hand corner, I'm getting nowhere. Any hints would be appreciated
