We've just had a conversation about the above, and were wondering how men go on in a naturist environment if they 'stand to attention' unexpectedly.
It must happen, and we were wondering how it would be viewed by other naturists.
Anyone know?

As a naturist myself, I've never found it a problem and others don't seem to have either: http://nudism.yaia.com/questions.html I've found far more problems with 'trouser bulges' when teaching teenage (especially 6th form) girls!

There are plenty of sights to quickly discourage such events.

unfortunately, i have not yet had the opportunity to 'hang out' in a naturist establishment

Well, yes,I'm sure there are Zacs, but there must be times when it just 'happens' and we were wondering how it's perceived by the naturist fraternity.
I'd quite like to be a naturist, it must be very liberating.
I think they sunbathe on their front for a while

Well they wouldn't need their binoculars.
There have been avant garde productions of nude ballet featuring male dancers, on watching a performance, Robert Helpman once observed " The problem is, when the music stops, not everything stops moving"!
They give them some stick.
Useful for hanging your bag though.

seriously though ethandron, if you are really curious about it - why don't you investigate one or two places with a view to trying it out?
Most clubs cover this eventuality in standing orders.
I've been a naturist for over 20yrs and I've never seen any man standing to attention.
This is where the rolled up newspaper comes in handy
No, Chip....a sharp tap with a pencil works instantly....I always had one to hand....☺
I find that thinking very hard (oooh matron) about Margaret Thatcher will always preclude such an unwanted event ...
..........ok Gness I really meant for covering up :-)

Naturism, na, I'm just not up for that!
Oh sorry, Chip.....I thought you were beating seven bells out of it with a copy of the Daily Mail......☺
Hugging a tree might help.
I would think if you were s regular naturist then you would be ...ahem...hardened to it.
if the unfortunate/fortunate event did occur, standing with your arms akimbo would probably be frowned upon
