Once again BBC is showing repeats of Pointless - without any prior warning. Why can't they just let a series run and then give the programme a break. I am sure that fans won't fall into a decline if they have to watch something different for a couple of weeks.

Agree!
Probably because they have nothing new to show instead. The amount of repeats makes me glad I don't have to pay the full cost of a tv licence.
"without any prior warning".....Wrong. Thursday's and Friday's editions (and all of next week) are clearly labelled as "repeats" in the Radio Times.
It is a bit irritating, though.
It's a common practice by all channels, repeating quiz show editions when the original run of a series has finished....but it's only ever the BBC who get blamed!
Agree, it really is Pointless!
