I'm 100% liable for a car bump. Wondering if my premiums will go up a lot next year. I currently pay £33 a month, it went down from £39 in Jan. I am thinking it could be £69-£100 per month. Anyone any ideas of the jump or experience of this? Thank you.

Do you have your no claims bonus insured ?, if you have it shouldn't go up to much.

I thought I had no claims bonus protected and I hadn't so it's gone down now from 4 years to 2.
Yes your premium will go up next year and stay up for the next 5 years.
The amount depends on your insurer ,so do not accept the renewal quote and shop around for a better one. If you stay with your present insurer they will rip you off so look around and find a cheaper one.
NCB protection is not worth the paper it is written on!
They will keep the bonus but increase the base premium the NCB is worked out from so you pay the same increase.

I was thinking that if i changed insurers next year as ive had an accident
they would see me as an expensive liability so wasnt going to bother.
Camelia Really all you can do is to wait and see what your Insurer will offer you in the way of renewal terms come your renewal date.

When you receive these then "look around" to see if you can obtain better terms, bearing in mind that you must disclose details of this accident.
You will save money by changing insurers, you should change every year and never accept an automatic renewal unless you have checked it is the lowest.
I change insurers every year and have always saved at least £150.
Eddie If you save at least £150 per year, then you must be getting your car insurance for nothing.
