Sorry, know it's the wrong section. Boy #1 has just paid £20 to purchase some coins to buy games on his iMac (he had my permission even though I have no idea what it's all about). Payment has been taken and coins were due to be sent in 30 minutes. 90 minutes later nothing has arrived so boy has FB messages the people and they have replied '*** off' - what's the best thing to do - contact my bank, contact PayPal or engage in a FB stand off with the rip off merchants?

PayPal buyer protection should cover you sherr, screen shot the messages as evidence
I'd certainly notify PayPal that their service seems to be being used fraudulently. However you might not be eligible for a refund from them.

Quote: "In order for a transaction to be eligible for Buyer Complaint Process review . . . Your purchase must be a tangible item. Services and intangible items, such as emailed recipes and e-books, are not covered".

So I'd also contact the relevant bank (or card issuer) to see if they can help.

It might also be worth having a word with your local Community Constable to see if he/she thinks that there's any way that the matter can be pursued through the police.

Possibly also of use:

I can't see that sending Facebook messages would help much. You'll probably just end up getting more and more angry, while the recipient of those messages will simply enjoy laughing at them.

On phone to bank -they (scum bag Internet sellers) have tried to take amount twice!!! Need to contact Paypal (closed until the morning). It's only £20 but I'm not going to let it lie (hell have no fury greater than a bored mother - please refer to Wookey Hole saga).
