Funding For A Course

Hi dont knkw if many people will know the answer so ill give it a go

I Have seen a course on a distance learning website that I would love to do for my career but camt afford to fund it myself.

ive looked into different types of education grants and i may be entitled to one. So im just wondering if a college that is a private organisation which this one is like most distance learning colleges are, could i use the grant to fund it.

The only people who can tell you this for certain are the funding organisations - it depends what sort of grant you are looking for. Some grant-givers may have contracts tied to particular organisations. You also need to be wary of some distance learning courses, to be sure that they are reputable and genuine before you give them money in the first place - but if you do get the grant, it's possible they will send the money direct to the training provider, not to you.
I doubt there will be much, if anything, available in the way of grants unless it's something like nursing where a bursary may be available. There are career development loan schemes available- have a look here:
