Right To Reject Leased Vehicle

Within the past few weeks I leased a new car from a local dealership. The car has a fault with one of the front wheels. The dealership has tried three times to rectify said fault but without success. I contacted the dealer yet again to reject the vehicle who told me that it was the car manufacturer's responsibility and gave me their phone number. I contacted the manufacturer who told me that it was the dealership's responsibility. I now feel that I am stuck between a rock and a hard place! Whose responsibility is it, and do I have the right to reject the vehicle as unfit for purpose. I am prepared to accept a replacement vehicle but do not want to be stuck with a lemon.

Can't answer this absolutely, because it will depend on the terms of your leasing agreement. I'd advise that you have a good long read first, then contact your finance house. They may well have more clout with both the dealer and the manufacturer than you.

Good luck with it.
I would think your contract was with dealership - they are people who supplied goods so down to them to rectify
put a bloody big sign on it saying whats happened and drive up and down the road outside the dealers and every time you pass pull into their driveway making sure you block it up
it will be sorted straight away!
