Cycling/walking Dilemma

My place of work is currently only 1 mile away from my home. I either cycle or walk to work,a journey of no more than 20 mins.
However my house is up for sand we are planning to move about 8 miles away to be nearer our family. Therefore I am intending to cycle to work and back Mon to Fri when we are living in our new area. This will give me 80 mpw of exercise,(aprox 10 hours per week). This should increase my fitness levels quite a lot
I am also at the moment Power Walking around 1 hour per day,5days a week, and this fits in ok with my short commute to work.
My problem is,when I move house would it be to much to carry on Power Walking on top of 80 miles a week of Cycling.?
It seems to me quite a heavy work load.
I am reluctant to drive the 16 miles per day to work,if only to save money and stop polluting the planet!
Any advice please?

Unless you have any health problems you should be able to do both the cycling and the walking.

Stop worrying about finances and polluting the planet ?
It's too much to walk daily. And cycling is a risk to self and others and thus irresponsible and should be discouraged.
Failing that there's always the bus.
Unless you have any health problems you should be able to do both the cycling and the walking.
why not just do the cycling and drop the power walks?
Take up unicycling instead.
80mpw is not a massive amount, I did 30 a day and row 3 times a week at over 50 years of age. Take it easy on the bike on walking days but as they use different muscles it shouldn't be a problem to do both on the same day. Enjoy
