Following on from the my thread the other day about what you consider to be 'posh', what do you consider to be 'common'?

I was never allowed to eat in the street because my Mother thought it was common.

Walking and smoking at the same time. No idea why but I just really hate it.
Chewing with your mouth open.
Wearing lots of rings on both hands.
Burping or yawning without putting hand over your mouth.
Chewing Gum when in a Pub,you are there to drink.
Talking with your mouth full.

Spitting in in the street (or anywhere in public).

Swearing a lot in public.

Same as Cupid.
talking noisily in public, bad table manners, screaming at children, clothes that show underwear, tattoos.....shall i go on?
-- answer removed --
sneezing with out a tissue or hankie to hand, spray all the germs everywhere.
chewing, eating with mouth full,
Would have been censured or even shot if seen/reported eating on the town streets in school uniform. We used to remove our ties as a disguise!!!!

Chewing gum was also a no no, I still hate it now. I'd rather see people smoking than chewing gum, especially with their mouths open.
That horrible sniffing and guttural sounds too, get a tissue etc...
Blokes in tracky bottoms using mobile phone with one hand and playing with their wedding tackle with the other.
Tattoos on women and to a less extent on men.

Women who who drink pints when socialising.

Women who smoke and to a less extent men who smoke.

Women who wear white stiletto heel shoes without stockings or tights.

Holiday makers who shop in their bathing suits and men bare chested.
Anyone with a tattoo.
When I was young, it was as china says, smoking in the street. Of course me and my friends did it all the more just to be 'bad'. We also bought a bottle of cheap sherry and drank it in the loos at the youth club. We thought we were so alternative...
Now, well, where do I start?? Going to the shops in your vest if you're a man, or going in your pyjamas if you're a woman.
Anyone who doesn't wear silk underwear
men with massive beer bellies, no shirts on, obese women who wear low down tracksuit bottoms, one recently showing off her rather ample derrière, bending to check on her crying infant, passengers on bus didn't know quite where to look
Psybbo.......LOL......not "anyone".........just women.
umpteen nose and face rings, body full of tattoos,
Question Author
I would consider many of these as bad manners rather than being common.

I do agree with the rings thing though......although it means Dame Judi Dench is common by this definition?!?!
Almost forgot:

Breast feeding babies in public.
Tattoos
Football strip (men & women who wear this)
Snorting snot when one should just blow one's nose
Chewing gum with mouth open
Belching aloud
Lots of piercings
Lots of mahoosive gold 'sovereign' rings/Elizabethe Duke jewellery
Smoking roll ups
Women who tie their hair up in a ponytail with a scrunchie - bleeeeurgh..
