So the (new) prosecutor in the Knox/Sollecito case is "demanding" that the guilty verdict is reinstated, and that Amanda's sentence is increased to thirty years.
Why?
Because they now believe that there may have been an argument over cleanliness in the flat, resulting in the murder!

What happened to the sex game theory?
We have abandoned our sex game theory ... because it was a figment of Prosecutor Mignini's imagination.
We have abandoned our murder weapon evidence ... because it turned out that the DNA on the knife in Sollecito's flat was not the victim's ... DAMN! ... we have no murder weapon.
We have abandoned our DNA evidence because ... because it turned out that there was no DNA from Amanda or Rafaelle at the scene of the murder ... not one, single tiny trace.
We have abandoned our witnesses ... because it turned out they were all unreliable, and their evidence was worthless.
In fact, apart from the evidence that we have created ourselves (!!!) about how we portray Amanda, we are left with not one single, solitary scrap of evidence whatsoever to suggest that Amanda or Raffaele were connected with the crime.
None.
Nothing.
Zilch.
If we had done the investigation the right way round ... by looking at the evidence, and seeing what it tells us ... none of it suggests any connection with Amanda or Raffaele.
But we did it the wrong way round. We picked a couple of suspects, and then tried to find evidence to point to them.
We are not deterred by the fact that there isn't any.
We have a new theory ... Tah Daaah!!! ... It is unsupported by facts, evidence, or logic, but here it is ...Amanda and Meredith may have argued about the flat being unclean and, as a result of the argument, Amanda murdered Meredith.
(Prosecutor waits for laughter to die down in Court)
And so, we DEMAND that the guilty verdict is reinstated.

I used to think that people who thought Knox and Sollecito were guilty had just not grasped the implications of certain aspects of the evidence.
Now that the "evidence" has, in its entirety, been discredited or abandoned, you could only believe they were guilty if you were bizarrely deluded, or had just not really looked at the actual facts.
Sadly, that includes the new prosecutor!
(of the two original prosecutors, one has been convicted of abuse of office, and the other has been charged with professional misconduct in connection with the original evidence).
The prosecutor says, basically, I know that there's no evidence of any sort whatsoever, but I just believe they did it, because I want to believe they did. I do, I do, I do. Now pass my dummy back, please.
As ever, the Italian "justice" system is the laughing stock of the world.
This is worrying because my BF is supposed to fly over in the morning and, at the mo, he's in ... Italy! Yikes!
If he goes through a red light, or steps on a crack in the pavement, he could find himself charged with murder and deported to a penal colony for the rest of his life ... and then he'd miss his flight.
I don't want my BF to spend the rest of his life in prison for stepping on a crack in the pavement.

If I was her I wouldn't go anywhere near any EU country. Cant they force an arrest in any EU country these days?
My father in law always reckoned you could buy anything with a tin of tomatoes, particularly from the ladies (he was in Italy in the war). Perhaps she should send a case over. I'm not going to repeat what he said about them though, I'll get banned !!

Anyone would think the judges, prosecutors and police in this case have no idea this is playing out on the world stage.
Some of us (well, me at least) have absolutely no idea what the Italian justice system is like, except for this.
