Old news. Most of these will have been snapped up by bank/shop workers. No-one will hand them out as change now.

You are probably correct another-view, but I wonder how many, like me, still checked through all their purses, boxes that they save odd coins, charity boxes, kid's money boxes and every time a 20p is given with your change? I did. No luck of course.

They are being sold on eBay for far more than �50 - one has already gone for more than �5000.
