What a cheek.

What a cheek, especially coming from a country with China's violation of human rights record.

If apologies are called for, then China should be the first to make them.

I know nothing about Mr Zhao's human rights record, but it isn't necessarily fair to blame him for Beijing policy. After all, does anyone blame the Iraq war on you just because you're British? The poor man is just seeking some free publicity.

Question Author

Interesting to note that since this news item was published by the Independent, it has so far only recieved one answer.

Me thinks the answers would have been 20 plus had I had linked it from the Daily Mail.

This was just a little experiment I conducted, and it seems it was more than successful, and the Daily Mail haters were true to form.

The guy is quite clearly being ridiculous. I really doubt Dreamworks had Chinese nationalist symbolism in mind when making Kung-Fu Panda.

I don't think it's reasonable to bring in the record of the Chinse govt. though. He doesn't appear to be filling the role of some kind of spokesman for Beijing, he's just being a bit of an arse.

This is the first time I've laughed hard on AB in a while.

You're a hoot, AOG.
