What has Her Maj signed?

According to the front page of the Express, Brown has "forced" the Queen to sign away our soveriegnty in "secret". Anyone know what she has signed? Obviously it's not totally a secret! More detail? I thought we where already subjugated by the Eurocrats, so what else is there to sign over?

Point of interest.
Aged 17 / 18 I was a member of the Young Socialists, and used to ride my motorbike, up the long steps of the huge dilapidated house where the meetings were held, through the front door, into the hall and then into the front room.
Nobody cared .... we were all plotting the revolution!
True story.

I did offer my vote on the treaty to you guys at the time...

It's quite clear the treaty referendum will be rerun here in Ireland - Sarkozy (French and current EU President) called for it in his speech the other day. Note that the vote against the treaty here had little to do with the treaty itself, and nothing to do with our EU membership - it was a carefully orchestrated protest vote against the government, the current WTO negotiations (and Mandelson's ridiculous position) and against the current tax and economic position here.

All countries have continued the ratificaion process - and hardly in secret, the fact that your govt was doing so was front page of the London Times and on the BBC some weeks back. As noted, the exceptions are the Czech Republic, and also the Polish President - this is solely because he has refused to sign so far (the treaty having passed all stages of their parliament, and therefore this is a potential constitutional crisis there).

Note also it's not just the Labour govt in the UK that has blocked your right to vote - the high court refused a case there calling for a review of the government decision some weeks back.

But as far as it goes, the treaty will be back on the agenda here - give it 6 months.
