Deputy headmaster Keith Plant said: "It's difficult to know at the moment whether this was part of the curriculum or not. I am not an RE teacher, I am an English teacher.

This man should be sacked if he does not know what is being taught in his school.

Actually, you could make it up, couldn't you:
In a bid to respect cultural sensitivities, the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) is considering the move while drawing up new guidelines on the use of police dogs.

Many Muslims refuse to have direct contact with the animals, which are considered "unclean" in Islamic culture.

An ACPO spokeswoman said current guidelines were being re-drafted, but the suggestion that police dogs wear bootees had not been ruled in or out.

Oneeyedvic could not make it up but probably the DM has done so. Just went on to the APOC website and looked at the press releases for July 4th, 3rd and 2nd. No mention of dogs wearing booties.

Now that might be because the DM have a scoop and this is breaking news, or it might be the usual intemperate, unbridled and specious nonsense that they print in their war against Muslims and anyone who doesn't foam at the mouth when Muslims are mentioned.

Once again a prime example of the Left being proven wrong in their constant hate campaign, towards the free speaking Daily Mail.

Get your fact right before accusing them of making up these reports.

Or get up to date, it is now the 6th july, not the 4th 3rd or 2nd. The Telegraphs's report was updated at 3.12pm
