Yep I would say that was about right.

So why did the hacks at the Telegraph choose to illustrate it with a picture of Morris Dancing?
Love reality TV and Radio 4?
Britain like all countries is a huge range of different people with different ideas.
Trying to generalise and stereotype "the British people" or any large group of people is frankly just dumb

That's not the Britain I know, thankfully.

as the class structure goes in this country, the telegraph have got it right, for a change, however they have ommitted a certain class which they refuse to address.

Not the Britain I know either, although if you take a look in the tv media section on Ab you might think otherwise. It gets a bit obsessive celeb wise on there sometimes.

I can only say that my husband worked for a German company and that the germans' there, when asked their impression of the UK, said that their image was of 15 yr old girls pushing prams. So there you go!

sounds about right except for the bit about charity donors - Brits are rather poor at charity, except for animals, which do a lot better than charities for humans. It does list good points as well as bad., but the rest of them seem pretty much correct to me. In fact they could have read AB to confirm it all.
