The British public have voted, so why the delay ?
Is it:
1. May's heart isn't in it and will be gone by the next election. Leaving someone else to tidy up the mess
2. An admission that our Trade Negotiators are useless and 3 years time is beyond them, and they need 2 extra years to catch up.
3. She is too busy trying to save her own neck than concentrate on what is best best for the country.
4. May is the wrong person at the wrong time to be PM.
5. We are all f******ed

Gromit....agree with all above !
Me too. She will resign "due to ill health caused by her diabetes" and Boris will drive through the reforms that are good for the UK. Nice. That is how to blind side the Pyramid schemers and Marxist fifth column. :))
The reason I’d have thought was obvious: we can’t extract ourselves from trade deals with the EU by 2021. This is a sensible and pragmatic approach, which anyone with any sense has been predicting all along.
So none of the above in fact
By 2019, sorry!

Still trying to work out F * * * * * *e d
Flummoxed.
I'm about as extreme a remainer/remainer/neo fascist liberal scum of the earth as it gets, but even I would be more reconciled to us leaving the EU if done in this sensible way. It is the hardline Brexiters who will in the end cause the death of Brexit if they try to have their way.
Steady on chaps!

Our "friends across the channel" have not given their response to Mrs May's proposals yet. In particular, they have not yet commented on her offer to bung them just twenty billion quid (for the dubious privilege of trading with them) when they have demanded up to £100bn. This will run a little bit longer yet.
NJ Couldn't agree more - far to much doom and gloom by some and without very much thought.

Flummoxed, Why would that have been *****ed out then?
Federated?
Oh gosh...you know what he meant!!!
Mrs May was 100% for remaining in the EU before the referendum.
She has not changed her mind, she is just saying what she is forced to do by circumstance.

Notice that not once! has she actually said she supports Brexit, she just uses phases such as 'Brexit means Brexit' to avoid haveing to actually say she does not think it is the correct action.
Boris was the same
He was writing a newspaper column under a pseudonym that supported Remain even while he was supposedly spokesperson for 'Leave'

The EU commision are not stupid, they know that neither Mrs May or BoJo actually want to leave the EU and that the country is split almost 50/50 between those who want to be in the EU and those that want out.
They know that their words are just what it is expedient to say and not what they actually want.
Fertilized even. Seeing as the OP is well full of it.
Poster probably has spelling problems.
Mind you he may be Flustered.
Boris did not stop at just one article backing Remain while he was campaigning for Leave , he has had to admit there were at least two

It certainly isnt over
none of the usual suspects have squealed over the £350m per week that St Nige guaranteed would go to the NHS

what about THAT then ?
I'm so glad to be living in a democracy.
the majority vote doesn't matter does it?
That's because he didn't guarantee it, PP.
