More pain for his nearest n dearest.
There has been a lot of talk on 2 local FBs since the beginning of his disappearance,

A man from Newmarket said that he went to the police, when the news came out he was missing, saying he saw him in the woods outside of Mildenhall, on the night he supposedly went missing, where he goes night hunting, which is a well known haunt for Gays.

As the search went on, he said he had been back to the police 3/4 times, but they seemed to ignore his story.

I actually know him from years ago, and then he was a bit of a lad getting in trouble, with fighting etc, but of course he could be the opposite now.

Will have a look for the discussion, and let you see if interested, as you have to be a member.

The not knowing must be the worst form of torture for the family.

trt, thanks, but I don’t ‘do’ Facebook. However, the first thing I thought of was that, in such a rural area, he is either lying dead and unnoticed in a ditch or in Thetford forest near Mildenhall, a short drive from Bury St Edmunds.
Lets hope they soon find out what happened to him, so that his nearest and dearest, can finely seek closure to this indescribable worrying event in their lives.
Agree with trt - also saw the interview of a guy who claimed he saw him that night at a well known site - and described his clothing in details - pink and white so quite unusual.
Why has this info about the sighting in the woods not been made public before ?
Possibly to the stop wild speculation we've seen on here Mikey. But more likely as a legal process whilst the police investigate without the glare of the press.
Zacs....I have been following this case since day one. If there is any element of truth in what this chap is saying about the sighting in the woods, then that would be a very important element indeed.

trt is saying that the chap went back to the Police 3-4 times, and I find it difficult to believe that if he did do that, it wouldn't have become public knowledge.

We are still faced with the problem that Corrie was last seen going into the Horseshoe area, but not seen coming out.
Mikey - why do you expect all details to made public? It's not in our interest...the police know what they are doing.
ummmm...I wish I had your faith that the Police "know what they are doing"

But leaving that aside, if this new info is correct, then I would have expected the man to go public long before now.
If his 'evidence' is sound, surely the last thing he'd want to do would be let a media frenzy spin and warp it before it got to trial, or risk it even preventing a trial?
Of course the police know what they are doing! They can only act on the information they have at the time.

You have to remember, Mikey, the amount of crank calls the police receive by sickos! Useless leads they 'have' to follow up.

Mikey, //if this new info is correct//

For all we know this man's information may have been checked out and found to be false. I don't think any potential clue would be ignored.
Has foul play ever been suspected?
I would say so.
Is this case one of the " never to be solved " ?
Corrie's Mother, and the Police have both stared that they think his remains still lie in the landfill site.
