Will be fascinating to see how they perform tonight. As a Tory, fear that May might seem aloof, cold and nervous; Corbyn laid-back and' reasonable'.

'reasonable'? You're kidding right?
Yeah I think MayDay will crash and burn thank God- she's dreadful 'live', very unsympathetic, nervous, unlikable and weak as water, whereas Corbyn is at least intelligent and articulate.
Question Author
I meant come across as 'reasonable', compared to a 'cold' opponent.
Will be very interesting how TM performs, may well give the answer as to why she refused an all leaders debate ?
intelligent and articulate??? Spouting bunkum, won't reveal the truth about his sympathies and CND activities and willing to take us into the Dark Ages with his so called financials......PLEASE.
All practised, congenital liars come across as reasonable and likeable. That is how they get away with it for a while. Corbyn is just another shade of Bliar, no less deluded but just as convinced of himself.
Preferable however to Teresa the Appeaser who think kids breakfasts cost 7p and that the dementia tax is acceptable in a civilised society :/

What don't you understand about the difference between Corbyn coming across as reasonable and sensible and actually being so? It's the perception I'm concerned about not the reality, the reality being he's a disaster.
Strongly disagree I'm afraid, the disaster for the country would be another five years of the Tories, and I just hope enough people have woken up in time and vote strategically enough to make sure that doesn't happen.
Teresa the Appeaser

lol
I bet Corbyn is busy drafting our Instrument of Surrender to Argentina just in case he wins the election.

Kvalidir: Doesn't the fact that 80 per cent of his own colleagues, Labour MPs, give you a little hint as to how useless he is?

It doesn't matter how much BS Corbyn spouts tonight, he will never convince me he is a fit person to run The Country.
No to be honest, I think those people are in the wrong party. Labour always was a socialist party, the fact that it was hijacked by Blairite 'Red Tories' doesn't change that- interesting that you think it helpful to your own cause that the two parties be almost indistinguishable until recently, I'd have though that would have been more of a hinderance and that you'd have welcomed a return to a more left wing version of the party.
Unfortunately, they are the only two we have got at the moment I'm afraid, till another two clowns are voted in.
Corbyn is giving us a genuine alternative to right wing government. That's all good, and well done Corbyn. - thanks for the opportunity, but no thanks. We've seen it before.
Sometimes The Evening Harold is a bit too close to the truth !!

Theresa May is a liar. I find it immensely confusing how anyone lands at the decision to vote for her - she has reversed every single major political decision she has made in the past year (Brexit, VAT/NI, Election, Social care). She has no consistency. I noticed on the interview session last night she got plenty of applause by repeating the "no deal is better than a bad deal" line. I couldn't help but wonder on what basis any of the people applauding believed she would still think that in 2 years time...
