Can't he be both ? One to his mental mates, another to the civilised world.
In the light of the article it is an interesting question when looking for an official answer from those claiming to be in a position to make one.

Being pragmatic, it may be a way forward, but under ideal circumstances they ought to stop expecting virgins, presumably willing ones anyway. Besides who in their right mind is going to blow themselves up for a bit of heavenly sex ? Maybe dodging Hell is the greater incentive, so it's weird they think a heinous act will achieve that.
I've heard him called lots of things and none of them complimentary.

The least offensive term probably being a 'monster'.

As OG says, he will be viewed as both.
Neither, he was just pure scum.
How can he be classed a martyr for Muslim causes, by killing innocent people mainly youngsters? As in other such terrorist actions some of the victims could be fellow Muslims.
Murderer.
Exactly AOG, I thought that myself, that there could be young Muslims at the M/C Arena, but I was told it didn't matter, because they are targeting young girls who dress and act provocatively as their religion forbids it. Don't know if there is any truth to that.
Murder does not describe adequately what this evil git and his religious beliefs did.
Of course he isn't a Martyr ymb....did you really think that anyone on here would say that he is !
Mikey ^^^ only the brave would say that. :-)
Or we could use Donald Trumps name for them....Loser.
Barsel....I realise that ymb didn't mean the question literally !
Mikey I think you may have misunderstood me. I meant only the brave would call this piece of you know what, a Martyr.
Well , it all depends to whom the question is asked , doesn't it ?
OK Barsel...sometimes its difficult to gauge exactly what people mean on here !
I owe the Schiller quote to a recent article by Mark Steyn.
Apologies, everyone. Posted on wrong thread.
martyr or baby killer
difficult choice that one - typical of the moral dilemmas on AB

I think Murray is saying, unless we begin to consider that - as unbelievable as it seems to us some people believe he is a martyr, we may not come to terms with understanding the mentality of these people and thereby addressing the enormous problem Western civilization is facing.

///.I realise that ymb didn't mean the question literally///

ymb hasn't asked a question on here.
