In a white dress.
Is she the lady with the delightful derriére who stole the show at her sister's nuptials a while back?
Weddings have always made the papers.
Sandy :-)
Not this much usually, ummmm. I think it's quite OTT.
Having said that, I like looking at the outfits. I thought the D of C could have tried to steal the show by wearing a nicer outfit. Her salmon-coloured monstrosity was like something my great Aunt would deem too frumpy.
Jo...I'm on holiday so have missed it. Thankfully :-)
If a room full of people were sat down to compose an identikit picture of an average looking white woman, Pippa's what you'd get.

I really don't get the skinny butt hysteria either. It's almost like it's been made up and swallowed whole by many.
Would that be the wedding were they held the reception in the greenhouse?

And are those cops about to pull this driver up for driving without due care and attention?

It seems a large chunk of the masses feel a need to hero worship and "follow" certain individuals or families; the the media is only to happy to encourage it as it's easy stories to offer. All rather sad really.
22 pages in the Mail.....madness...still my nephew gets married in September so I will alert them and hope that my new (ish) frock and hat combo will also hit the headlines!!
There are several descriptive words that come to mind but I will simply use the pull out section to line the cat litter tray!!
What a miserable bunch! I like weddings.
As a young child, I remember an old neighbour who was quite a battle axe. She used to dress like Helen Hayes playing Miss Marple. Winter wear was a cloaked, tweed coat and slightly heeled, lace up bootees. She always had her hair in a neat bun and bedeck it with a pert little hat. She attended many weddings in my home town. If we were passing a church wedding in the High Street on a Saturday we would see the old lady there outside the church, even to the point that she would be lining up with everyone for the photographs. I must say it was quite reassuring to see her at my sister's wedding, sitting at the very back of the church. Perhaps she was related to Naomi?
AOG...it looks like a fashion disaster to me !
I think the report ought to be more specific . . . .

"Local woman gets married"
choux, I wouldn't go that far, but I did know an elderly lady whose greatest pleasure was to sit on a wall across the road from a certain pub at chucking out time on Saturday nights to watch the fights. :o)
So, Pippa, what first attracted you to multi-millionaire hedge-fund manager James Matthews?

And now she spends her time hanging around AnswerBank doing the same. :0)
My same old woman once had a chimney fire at her house, to which the fire brigade was called. After the fireman had left she spent the rest of the day making her way in and out of all her neighbours to tell them about the trauma she had experienced. She did all the upside of the road first and then the downside. Meanwhile, her poor husband was left to clean up all the smoke damage by himself. Some marriages truly are made in heaven :)
aog, haha! No, she died years ago. A real 'character'.
