Done half of a 6 year sentence ? Sounds plausible to me.
But he is going back in court again to answer more charges.
Apparently, one is a retrial for three charges that the jury were unable to each a verdict on earlier, the other a new count at the crown court which should (or may have) start this week?
No, I'm afraid it is not fake news, just another shining example of our pathetic "justice" system.

Prisons are full to bursting, and expensive. He's no longer a danger to anyone, and won't enjoy showing his face in public. Let him out.
seems very likely he will be out soon, not that i think he should be.
I have come up with a novel idea - transport him to Australia .

Why? I don't think his didgeridoo has ever been brought into play in these cases, his hands maybe but never his didgeridoo.
As I understand it, Harris is facing more charges even as I type.

How can you say that Hopkirk? If he did that to one of my daughters, I would want him locked up for life! It doesn't matter whether he wouldn't do it again, he needs to have punishment for what he did.
