The link-material makes it perfectly plain that Orkexit is NOT on the cards or ever desired by Orcadians!
I intended to say 'even', not 'ever'.
Is Mork's homeland leaving something?
"But while they want Orcadians to be given a "stronger voice", they do not back full independence for Orkney."

You are the tops for non stories and fake news
Fake News? from whom?
If you read the title of this thread, YMB, you will see the key-word is "Orkexit" and the link-material makes it plain that that is an abbreviation along the same lines as "Brexit".
However, that material makes it perfectly plain that Orcadians have no desire for independence from the rest of Scotland by making their "exit" therefrom.
In other words, the content has nothing whatsoever to do with REAL news, which makes it FAKE news. As regards "who from", the answer is obviously the OP! Who else?

are you saying that the BBC is putting out fake news? Heaven forfend!
I had another quick skim through the BBC material you linked to, TTT, and nowhere did I see the word, 'Orkexit' there. It is, therefore, abundantly clear that I am not saying "the BBC is putting out fake news".
What I am saying is that - by being the only source using the word - YOU are!
"Orkney councillors have backed calls for the islands to be given greater control over their own affairs.
But while they want Orcadians to be given a "stronger voice", they do not back full independence for Orkney."

They voted to remain in the EU and don't want to be outwith Scotland. If there are any cards, they are blank. Other than that, it's a valid question...
