I blame his parents for christening him such a ridiculous name.

Trump says torture works, so who can argue with that?
His treatment shames the world.
And its us that paid the compensation, and us who pays the Government!

Bloody shambles.

I think you miss the point of the question, Gromit.
driven to suicide by illegal government action. Blame the war criminal Blair.

Pretty good analysis. Well up to your usual standard, JNO.

More challenging attempt (if you're going for a beta grade) is explaining why a British born black guy would sympathise with the Taleban in the first place. Was Ronald's life so desperate here? Who's family or friends was he siding with when he moved to Afghanistan?

Follow-up question.

I don't think a million pounds paid by the tax payer is that important. I think Ronald's suicide is of no consequence whatsoever.

But, do you think Ronald's sharing his death with fellow citizens in the UK(possibly), or with Shia Muslims(actually) in Iraq is an equally acceptable price?

An update on Mr. Fiddler's GITMO experience: (this is Sky News) was Ronald "radicalised" before he went to Afghanistan, or only later when he was detained unfairly in GITMO?
Wonder did we/you have a thread about Fiddler and his mates when they were in Gitmo, when they won their lottery settlements.
He's gone and let any AB supporters he had down. (if he had any)
And confirmed the suspicions of the more cynical, ie, normal ABers.
Bye-bye Ronald!
When his bomb exploded, was it a case of, Fiddler on the roof ?
LOL @ Khandro!
That'll earn you a telling off, Khandro. Lol,
Nice one Khandro.

There is definitely one party to blame as jno has pointed out: Bliar.

But more questions need to be asked. Blunket said none of them would ever pose a threat(or something like that) at the time, seems that was not true (as most sane people thought at the time).

This is one thing that really does need a detailed enquiry, an unhindered one on TV with Bliar as first to be questioned.
I was fined £100 a few years ago , because my accountant sent my tax return
late, by just a few days. it's nice to know where your money goes!.
Maybe they should ask his family for the rest of the million pounds back as hes proved his imprisonment on suspicion of terrorism was correct.
Relax, gulliver ... I don't think that (as heinous as it is) will land you a place in Guantánamo
I’ve never understood why allegedly innocent people travel to volatile areas of the world and put themselves in a situation which could result in arrest in the first place.
In most cases it's because they are not innocent. Those without rose tinted spectacles and a lean to the left know they are telling porkies.
YMB, that's my feeling too.
Talking of the 'rose-tinted spectacle' brigade, where are they?
Bet they had plenty to say when Fiddler and his comrades were 'wrongfully' imprisoned.
