This clearly demonstrates that the biggest racists in the UK are in fact the Muslims. It says here there will probably be a police investigation, http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/768066/Stoke-by-election-texts-order-Muslim-voters-to-vote-Labour-or-go-to-hell but don't hold your breath.
Just read the text.

It does not DEMAND they vote Labour. It tells them they should do. How is this any different from getting a leaflet through their postbox?

WhatsApp uses contacts from the senders address book, so the people recieving it know him, it does not go to strangers.
Gromit, //How is this any different from getting a leaflet through their postbox? //

As far as I'm aware political leaflets through doors don't usually contain references to hell.
What an hidiyat!

I think Labour are on a hiding to nothing with this woman.

Gromit When did you last receive a message like this through your postbox?
'Using references to God the divisive political and religiously motivated messages say: “Will you be able to answer for this in the Grave and on the Final Day??? ‘I helped the Enemies of Islam because…’” '

How is that whatsapp message any different from a post on AB?
The Muslim LibDem supporters can just ignore it, just as we ignore posts on here that we do not agree with. It is not an order, and it has no authority.

Not sure why "Muslim man texts his friends telling them to vote Labour" is worth a story in a national newspaper?
Perhaps this will persuade the non Muslims..........not to. Aayee.
Khandro,

Are we now trying to censor what people text to each other?

A text is a private message to individuals you have the phone number of. It is not published on the world wide web for everyone to read.

While I do not agree with the sentiment of the text, surely he is free to send whatever religious crap he likes to his mates?
I think any recipients will read this and decide it is simply electioneering, and not take a huge amount of notice about 'helping the enemies of Islam'.

If I got a message telling me I was heading for hell for not voting a certain way, I would laugh and delete it.
Apart from a few, working class hating, Islington internationalists, Muslims are the only vote Labour can depend on.
Presently, when their number has surged, the Muslims will create and vote for their own Islamist parties. So let Labour enjoy it while they can, I say.

Lets hope that there will be a strict surveillance carried out for any voting fraud, and it won't be overlooked due to over-sensitivities about ethnicity and religion, as was the case in Tower Hamlets.

/// In his report, Sir Eric said he had seen evidence of an anecdotally well reported problem of Pressure being put on vulnerable members of some ethnic minority communities, particularly women and young people, to vote according to the will of the elders, especially in communities of Pakistani and Bangladeshi background. ///
AOG - bowing to the will of elders is part of Muslim culture - it will be impossible to overturn that just because westerners think it is wrong.

We are dealing with a culture to whom the notions of democracy and choice are often alien, and therefore ignored - and there is little we can do about it.
Well, we could stop importing them, Andy.

The difference being Gromit, most of us are not Muslims, so we have no fear of retribution from beyond the grave.
Cobblers (and that is a watered down version of my original thought) samjenko, just arrant cobblers.

The Labour vote at the last election was about 9.5 million.

There are about 2.3 million muslims in the UK - even if they bucked the national trend and turned out en masse for Labour that's (at most) 2 million votes.

I don't think there are 7.5 million Islingtonistas in the country - so that leaves an awful lot of votes unaccounted for - probably from decent people who want more social justice and less pandering to the rich.
andy-hughes, //If I got a message telling me I was heading for hell for not voting a certain way, I would laugh and delete it.//

Of course you would, as would the rest of us, but we’re not Muslims to whom the prospect of hell is very real indeed.

Blimey, don't suggest that, look where it has got Trump?

We all know the problems they bring with them, but we continue to import them.

It is like knowing that a particular mobile phone has got certain
inbuilt problems, but we still continue to buy them.
I think many (most?) muslims are more robust than you give them credit for, Naomi - they may assure their elders of their support, but will use the secret ballot to vote for whom they choose.
I didn't realize, that Stoke had other residents who were not Muslim.

When I drove through there (very quickly I might add) last year, I thought I was in The Middle East.
