Further to my thread that was deliberately diverted to address this issue, I now give this a thread on it's own.

LOL, I don't think you mean Transgenic.

ups, comparable
HaHa
You have to mean 'Transgender' a huge difference.

When we talk of compatibility everyone has their own views.
:-) Shhh!
ah so not compatible and not transgenic.
(I dare someone to put something about Monkeys)
Gibbon.

Is that tea brewed yet?
Ok ...couldnt give a monkey's!
Yes it it, and don't call me a gibbon.
oops.
Of course it's not. My kids are mixed race, Caucasian/ Japanese and have no identity crisis at all. They are happy with both their sets of roots and are discovering both. I feel sorry for transgenders as they must have very complicated and difficult lives. My mixed race children do not.

Sorry again 'a transgender' it's been a long day.
AOG....you do ask some odd questions !

I have looked up transgenic, and it refers specifically to

"genetic material that has been transferred naturally, or by any of a number of genetic engineering techniques from one organism to another."

So I am presuming you mean transgender, which my dictionary defines as ::::

"denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex"

If that is correct, I can see no connections whatsoever between "transgender" and "born of mixed race", which, again, my dictionary defines as ::::

"denoting or relating to people whose parents or ancestors are from different ethnic backgrounds"

Hope I got this right !
"been a long day"
...been a long decade, more like.
This wants rubbing out and not starting again.

/// My mixed race children do not. ///

That does not mean that others do not.
aog clarified his question at 16:53. I don't think it's comparable. Why would it be?
For the record, I don't think it's comparable at all. You might as well ask is being born Swiss similar to being born liking Cheese.
Transgenic or Transgender I'm still clueless why you would ask such a question.
