So very sad - I saw him interviewed many times and he seemed such a lovely man
Minty -so sorry. You've had enough this year. A very big hug is coming your way every time you need it. XXx

Such a shame.
MM. Did you know him personally.?
He had so many issues surgery wise bless him
I found him absolutely fasinating , an entirely different generation and live stylo mine ,but such a larger than life character.
Very strange bloke. His face ended up looking like it had been spun right round...
many times!
I have never heard of him, but rip anyway.
I thought he was weird. Sad to die at 57 though.
Badric....thanks but I am none the wiser !
Mikey, why are you on this thread?
I'm sure I read he was appearing on Loose Women yesterday, did I get that wrong ?
I heard that too.
Tilly, while I thought he was a tad strange, lots of people seemed to have liked him, hence my rip

“Mikey, why are you on this thread?”

Probably for the same reason as I sometimes join in questions like this. To demonstrate that not everybody has heard of all of these “celebs” whose demise is reported. I am probably the worst offender in this respect as I know of few celebs, Thespians, rock stars, film stars or personalities who did anything much after the 1970s. So when these “youngsters” shuffle off this mortal coil I have frequently never heard of them. I have to say, in this particular case, I don’t ever recall even hearing his name mentioned, but that’s not surprising for me.

I’m also interested in people’s reactions. Yesterday one Aber announced she was “devastated” at this news. Quite how anybody can be devastated (definition in this context “to cause (someone) to feel extreme emotional pain”) at news of a death (sad as it is) of somebody they have probably never met and never knew is extremely puzzling to say the least.
