These alleged offences took place 5 years ago but were banned from being reported on, until yesterday.

/// A ban preventing the media from reporting the case until the alleged victims had finished giving their evidence was lifted yesterday following an application by the Press
Association. ///

But this is not the first time, this case also could not be reported on by the media, until the ban was lifted on 27th November 2014

Thanks for the info. Awful crime.
is there anything else in the paper today?
It is not uncommon for cases not to be reported on in the press when it could prejudice the investigation or trial. The case has gone to court and let's hope they get the sentence they deserve
And many cases are reported on even before any charges. Just ask Sir Cliff.

It is clear why this was not reported. Social Engineering by the liberal left.
Thanks for explaining. Why would the liberal left want to do that?
I am sure you know the answer to that, you have seen enough posts on it.
No sorry. But if it's too hard to explain don't worry.
Now that all the evidence has been collated there is a far better chance of a successful case being brought against these despicable men and some justice for these young lasses.

Be careful calling them "despicable" Mam, or you will have sp1814 on your back, complaining that they haven't been found guilty yet.
I love AB, always someone watching your back.

If he has a go at me will you bop him on the nose please.

Sorry Mam I can't do that, since it would be classed as racist, a racial attack, a hate crime or even a homophobic attack.
I'll sort him then, no worries.
I am not sure what we are supposed to say to this - obviously it is horrible, and the reporting restrictions were in place for valid reasons.

Given that abhorrence is a given, I am unsure what else there is - ?
SP1814 is actually quite correct.
Until the Jury pronounces these men as Guilty they remain (how uncomfortable it may be for you to admit) Innocent.

At the moment the Jury-Foreman announces the outcome of their deliberations 'then' it will the be the correct time to denounce the accused as odious individuals.

If these men are guilty, I hope that is satisfactorily established and they feel the full weight of the law.
I take on board all that has been said and of course my post was badly worded.

Now that all the evidence has been collated there is a far better chance of a successful case being brought and some justice for these young lasses, if indeed it transpires that these men are guilty of these despicable acts.

Apologies for my earlier leap to an assumed conclusion.

Always happy to help, divebuddy....

I can't see a post from SP1814.
It's the 13:53 post where AOG was saying what sp might say
Oh right. Thanks.
It was all my fault Naomi - it usually is.
