My first thought yes and then decided no. It will be just like any debate that our own Politicians have, full of lies, innuendos, accusations and shouting each other down. On second thoughts, I think I will watch.

danny the "moderator" is NBC's Lester Holt, I've no idea how good he is but we'll soon find out.

I think it will be a debate like no other!!

naomi it looks as if it's going on for quite a while so I will start but whether I will stay up until the end is another question.

Ladybirder, I don't think the actual debate begins until the early hours (our time), so I imagine the reporters - and others - will spend quite some time prattling, pondering, forecasting, and analysing. A bit like when a big football match is televised. zzzzzzzzzz ..... Best record it and watch it tomorrow - mostly on fast-forward.

Radio Times has it on from 11pm to 4am. Surely 5 hours of Clinton and Trump is more than any sane person can stand.

I will definitely be watching this circus, as I have been following them since they were both elected.

They reckon a 100 million will be watching in the States alone, so I will get my coffee & snacks ready.

As the programme is on for five hours and the debate is only 90 minutes it would make sense to record it and view at leisure.
