The Airport Security seem to have behaved a little heavy-handedly and could perhaps do with revising their approach in such instances.

I too agree with tight security at Airports and elsewhere but this incident certainly seems to have been poorly handled.

The original Race Relations Acts of 1965 and 1968 failed to include NI in its remit, for some strange reason. It wasn't until much later that NI was brought into line with the rest of the UK.

NI is 98.28% white, with only 0.2% black...perhaps the Immigration Officer had never seen a black person before ?

Security and some immigration officers are not all renowned for common sense at airports world-wide ! Having experienced Fort Worth Dallas the U.S. will not be seeng me again. I was only transferring from LGW to Pearson Toronto.
