A once upon a time party still in denial. It would be a joke but they have made British politics a laughing stock throughout Europe when there are more important things on the agenda to be cared with.
It is alright.

Crticising Israel is not anti-semtic any more than criticising the US is anti-christian.

Governments do nasty things that its people are not responsible for. Criticising those Governments is perfectly reasonable, and alright.

criticizing is one thing but calling for them to be "wiped" off the map?
The problem is the labour party have quite a history of supporting Hamas.

So by default they cannot like Israel.
No one called for them to be wiped off the map.

This tweet is not anti semitic

Ymb,
Labour has an even longer history of supporting Israel. Labour was in power when Israel became a State and instantly recognised it.
Labour Party Friends of Israel has been in existance since 1957.

Left wing Labour politicians have addressed Hamas as 'friends' which is not really supporting them.
'No one called for them to be wiped off the map.' says Gromit.

Untrue.

I believe that this proclamation - or something very similar - is in the Hamas charter.

Hamas, who are Mr Corbyn's 'friends'.

Naz Shah did not not call for Israel to be wiped from the map, no one in the Labour has. What Hamas believes is irrelevent.
at the event in question, labour party activist marc wadworth attacked jewish labour MP Ruth Smeeth in a rant-like manner usually associated with anti semitic slurs. he claims he didn't know she was jewish which is odd since he appears to be aware that she's "in collusion with the daily telegraph".then, later, as now, mr corbyn has said nothing about mr wadworth's conduct.

no anti-semitism in labour? right-oh......
// in a rant-like manner usually associated with anti semitic slurs // PMSL.

He did admonish a Labour MP for working hand-in-hand with the Daily Torygraph. A heinous crime for this activist. But There was no anti-semitism involved. She is Jewish but that that should not make her immune from criticism for working with a Conservative newspaper.
Again another false accusation.

Gromit. You wrote 'No one called for them to be wiped off the map.' So you are wrong. Hamas has done so. Also Iran and others in the middle east. More 'friends' of Mr Corbyn, perhaps?

IN LABOUR.
What Hamas believes is not part of this report into anti semitism in the Labour Party. My comment of no one referred to the Labour ranks, not anyone else.
False claims of racism, sexism and anti semitism do more harm to combating those ills. The false claims are politically motivate, and Jewish people should not let themselves be used in this way, or make false accusations.

Jeremy Corbyn's great grandfather to the power 48 went up the mountain and came down, the Israelites expectant on his every word.

"Good news, boys and girls, bad news is that HE has reduced the number of Unions to ten, the good news is that Hamas is still there."
The Labour Party is – largely – pro-Islamic. They admire the totalitarianism, the dictatorial style of government. It's arguably a socialist's dream. All the negative points of Islam are casually ignored while embracing all the articles of Islam they do like.

This stance – not surprisingly – puts them at odds with those who despise Islam and all it stands for. It puts them at odds with Islam's enemies (as Islam sees it). It's no accident that the Labour Party is largely anti-Israel. Israel is demonised in the Islamic world for having the temerity to stand against Islamic hegemony. Jews are portrayed as hideous child murderers and rapists. You name it; in the Islamic world, the Jews are guilty of one form of hideous crime or another. It's so transparently pathetic and yet millions of Muslims are fed this tripe every day of their lives and accept it as a literal truth. They swallow it, hook, line and sinker. I'm not a flag waver for Israel, but I recognise a beleaguered nation when I see one. It is beset on all sides by peoples who want to see it and its inhabitants wiped from the face of the Earth.

All of this leads me to believe that the Labour Party is fundamentally anti-Semitic. Blinded by their own misguided love of Islam, they inevitably turn on the purported enemy of Islam, the Jews.
Islam's view of Jews is based on their rejection of Mohammed's message when he went to Medina. The pagans in Mecca didn't like him. The Jews in Medina were happy to have him there. But they didn't buy into his phoney religion. Two of the three jewish tribes in Medina were dispossesssed of their land and exported once Mo had enough converts and thugs on his side. A third tribe the Banu Qurayza, accused of abetting his Meccan enemies, submitted to arbitration of their fate and the entire adult male population were decapitated.. Their women (and children) were spared this particular final destiny in favour of a more "merciful" one. Every page of the Koran preaches hatred of Jews, especially Sura 1 (repeated five times a day on Fridays by the faithful - "those whom Allah hates"). Every mosque in the Middle East preaches hatred of Jews. And every Livingstone, Corbyn and Khan who curries the Muslim vote in the UK will subscribe to the same hatred. It's been rebadged as "anti-Zionism".
Good evening, Birdie. Do you still have your "Why Islam isn't like other religions?" post?

Please reissue it.

The Labour Party is secular. It neither supports Islam, nor hates the Jews. It has always gained MPs in poor areas, and those are often from ateas with an immigrant population. So it has always had a good representation of Jewish and Jewish born MPs. Far more than the Conservatives.

"'No one called for them to be wiped off the map.' says Gromit. " - at least 2 members of AB have made such a call, one of them gromit knows very well.
I said No one from Labour called for Labour to be wiped from the map.

That statement does not mean Hamas has never said it, or some anonymous ABer has never said it. Just anyone in Labour.
