whining brats, they haven't had to pay for the EU gravy train have they.
In the eyes of the young then democracy means that unless you vote for what I want then then I will protest and sulk. Grow up, you had your vote and I had mine, win some lose some.
They will all be hurrying off to work later I suppose.
That's also the right on lefty approach baza. If you don't agree with me you must be thick.
The young I know, including my own, are far more polite and respectful than most of the old aggressive men on here!
They are used to having all their own way baz, and everything on a plate. That is our fault, they have never had to pay their way or strive for anything.

Then it is quite obvious that they don't take after the aggressive woman that you appear to be.

Can one imagine that lot ever defending this country?
I can understand their disappointment but can't defend their behaviour.

I also know young people who are down hearted at the result but they realise it's what it is and they'll have to bear it.
Good Lord!!! You and your ilk put down our young but you seem to forget that you were young once.

Didn't you defend this country because you were conscripted? Not out of choice?
It seems as you get older you get wiser, or not, according to which side you're on.
BREXIT: HOW THE NATION VOTED
Below are the latest figures from pollsters YouGov,revealing that young people voted in their droves for the Remain campaign.
18-24: 75% Remain
25-49: 56% Remain
50-64: 44% Remain
65+: 39% Remain
Taken from AOG's link.
Wiser is not something we will know about for quite a while!
ummmm
so being young gives you the right to behave like hooligans.
"Didn't you defend this country because you were conscripted? Not out of choice? " - yes ummm, there was conscription but most fought because they wanted to, so they can create the conditions for people like you to disrespect the nation in safety.
//so being young gives you the right to behave like hooligans//

It would seem it has always been so!!

No, of course not, danny, but having to yet again read AOG putting down our kids but will still defend groups like BF and EDL...it's a bit blumming rich!
well when we are all brown bread the young can apply to rejoin later. I suspect though, by then they'll have a lot more wisdom and won't want to. They'll thank us one day.
@AOG

"Our future is ruined" is such a bald statement. In what way is it ruined? Other than take photos of people and placards, no effort has been made to extract their views, in detail. Without detail, we cannot begin to tackle their disgruntlement.

What European languages have they learned to speak? Do they plan to work abroad for most of the rest of their life? What do they think the EU could have given them which they have (supposedly) now lost?

Cameron failed to sell the benefits of EU and only offered vague, yet sweeping, generalisations about what would be dire about leaving and that's all they can parrot.

p.s. The article said nothing about them being lefties. They don't appear to have interviewed any protestor to that depth. As I said, above, they've just jotted down some soundbite quotes.

if theres an EU left to apply to.
One doesn't expect thanks from the youth when one saves them from themselves, but when they are older they'll be amazed at how different their view has become. I suspect they will find that they are so relieved that the country hasn't failed completely due to mass immigration, overcrowding, lack of resources, and overwhelming welfare bills/taxes. And the benefit of being able to run their country for themselves instead of being dictated to by some unelected elite !

Meanwhile they might wish to consider what democracy means. Lord knows we see little enough of it for a country that claims to be democratic. If they believe in it then they ought not be protesting.

Presently Lily Bowen fails to realise how positively this will affect her future.
Matt Cooper fails to realise that the older generations have ensured there won't be any pieces to have to pick up.
I hope Grace ‏Lansbury understands the repercussions of the outcome, but her tweet suggests not.
Jon Gleeson should learn what "screwing us over" means. For sure it doesn't mean saving you from making a mistake.

Anyone who thinks they are not British are welcome to renounce their nationality and find a nation that they do like.

Perhaps some gratitude is in order for those who opted to endure a period of turbulence in order to ensure that there is a nation worth living in, and worthy of being proud of, as their inheritance to the next generation. But no adult is holding their breath.
