Shall read it in bit AOG...got distracted by crap in right hand column...apparently must-see stuff about folk I've never heard of.......

Two shockingly poor main candidates - I'd be writing "none of the above" in big red letters on my ballot paper ...
Didn't Boris talk of 'woolly pated pickaninnies'? Their remarks might cancel each other out.
I hope it's put an end to his ambition, but I won't hold my breath.
Boris's? Nor will I.
> crap in right hand column

It is known as the sidebar of shame ...
Forgive me, I'm having a few senior moments. It's Not him now
Has there ever been a decent option as London's Mayor ?
The sooner they get rid of the position, the better. Goes for all other city mayors too I suspect.
I doubt it will make the slightest difference. If anything ,in my opinion, would be his betes noire as a candidate it is (a) He is a Labour mayor and we know how Labour is seen at the moment and (b) there probably will always be a whiff of corruption in the air whenever an Asian holds public office in local government administrations.
Londoners still recall Tower Hamlets vote rigging fiasco and the Asian mayor promising social housing to his own first. London is not alone with regards to the introduction of corrupt vote rigging practices but given the Asian population of London and it's boroughs in West London there could well be a little duress and coercion happening as I type. That might swing it for him.
Oh thanks Ellipses, I really am wrong type of person to be in News.....

Ohooo!!! don't venture over to the right Baths, some say it can be quite dangerous. :0)
For the sake of London and the majority of Londoners, let's hope so.
What a coincidence. Soon as I sent my earlier post I got an envelope through the door from Sadiq Khan. No bung in it but most considerate of him as it is time for my ablutions and might come in handy. :-)
what sadiq khan may or may not have said in the past about adherents of his religion (or indeed a lot of other stuff) are of no consequence.

what should worry voters when it comes to mr khan's past is his association with lutfur rahman.

... and the rest with whom he has had dubious acquaintance.

And of course that also includes Uncle Tom.

Not at all. I think "crap in right hand column" is a much better name for it than "sidebar of shame", but "sidebar of shame" is what it is known as ...
It will be a sad day if this muslim becomes mayor of London...

is there no end to the muslim onslaught ?....
He has opened a khan of worms....
I agree, baz.
A Muslim Mayor of London and a vote to stay in the EU would be “game over” for the UK.

Unless these comments are shown on the main news channels, then I doubt it will make a difference.
I wouldn’t have known about this if it wasn’t for the link.
