I know it sounds daft/petty, but we live in a terraced house and our neighbours to the left have bought one of those massive round trampolines with the raised mesh sides. They've positioned it right nxt to the fence so that whenever they kids(and the dad) are in it bouncing up and down they are literally looking into our lounge. Yesterday my husband and I were enjoying a glass of wine and watching a film, and the way our sofa is I was facing the garden. I look up to see the dad bouncing up and down waving at me! Then the kids started. I just felt I was being watched the whole time. They've done it again today and they are just looking straight into our house the whole time they're on it. I really don't like it. Am I being silly? I honestly don't mind if you say yes!

Draw the curtains or close you're blind.
Draw the curtains.
net curtains?
Water cannon!
Yeah draw the curtains / blinds or you could wave back to them using only two fingers.
Vertical blinds are good cos you can angle them so they can't see in but you don't shut out all the light.
Why not wave back and smile at them enjoying themselves?
Neighbours should be friendly towards each other!

Can't draw curtains as lounge would be dark lol. I wouldn't mind it for the odd second but to keep doing it over and over was getting a bit daft
That would really annoy me, Smowball. Can you ask them politely to move the trampoline, as you value your privacy? You could make a bit of a joke out of it by saying you might have been having sex, or something. :) or maybe not, depending on the neighbour.
Have you got a dog Smow. A cat would do. You know ;-) Or if you have got pigeons or seagulls in the area, a few slices of bread at night would do it.
I think that would annoy me too, although I like to be friendly to a degree, I do value my privacy. I suppose nets or blinds would help but you really shouldn't have to.

If it's new then hopefully it's a 5 day wonder, they might get fed up with it after the initial excitement wears off ( fingers crossed).
Catch them out and go naked for the Bank Holiday!
It's a fad. They'll soon stop using it.

Lol I actually said to hubby what if we'd been........you know.......
The dad is actually ok but his kids are screamers. Not as in upset but they just scream all day for the sake of it. Shout shout shout- drives me nuts! And now they are shouting and bouncing!!
Squirty fairy liquid bottles, loud fireworks every time they have a session and stop, one of those ultra sonic howlers that only kids and juveniles can hear, ohh the possibilities for a summer oh fun and hilarity are endless Smow. You gotta be deadpan though.
Net curtains. They are probably just being friendly and are oblivious to the fact they are annoying you. In reality it is not forever. They will soon tire of it and it is not worth falling out with your neighbours over this.

Oh I don't want to fall out with them( wish this site had 'like' options for answers as some are so funny )
This is not the first time I have heard this story...not from you Smow but from friends of mine and I have experienced it myself. In my case it made my dogs bark crazily and I made some loud comments in the garden about it which resulted in the trampoline being moved or removed I don’t care which. If you feel able to do so then a polite (i won’t say friendly) word would be a good place to start, beyond that get some advice from your local council. You shouldn’t have to draw the curtains in your own home!
Sprinkle some chilli powder on it after dark...the kids will soon lose interest and the evidence will be gone.
