..... and many tears for the amazingly brave Alex Lewis featured tonight on Channel 4 programme at 9pm. It told the story of Alex and his girlfriend and their little son, after he lost all 4 limbs and his mouth due to a rare infection after catching influenza. How extraordinarily brave they all are, each in their own way, in coming to terms with their lives being changed in such an awful way.

So very humbling and uplifting ............ thank you Alex, I hope you can raise the funds to get the prosthetic limbs you desperately need.

If you missed it watch it here ....

I agree Ann - couldn't watch it when shown first Channel 4 but forced myself to channel 4 plus one - glad I did.

Fantastic partner/wife and son and of course little kiddie lovely son.

God bless them all and I hope he gets all his prosthetics he needs.

If there is a fund for him - I am too willing to donate.
Another reason why we should leave the EU, so that the millions we pay to stay in, could be used to fund the pair who are fund-raising for a £180,000 microprocessor knee joints that would allow him to walk and play with Sam again.
And other people on waiting.
