Dont worry, I guess theyll be carrying him away soon in a straight jacket...

Its hard to believe that this moron with Jezza is leading her majesties opposition...im going to try not to laugh because I know how much it ends up hurting
I agree with him, that is the way it is going. Europe is virtually border free. The current migrant crisis has put things back a bit but the crisis will end and the border free zone will be back.
Despite the problems the EU will continue to expand. Turkey is already accepted for membership and in the final stages of preparation for union.More states are lined up for membership within a few more years.
Has anyone asked China, North Korea, United States of America, Australia, Saudi Arabia, etc. etc,?
I've lab led him under F for 'fruitcake'. There's getting to be quite a number of MPs in there. Mainly, but not exclusively, Labour.
Labelled
I hope were not in the EU by then, EDDIE.
Who knows how far the EU will go? If just 10 years ago you had said Turkey would be a member people would have laughed and said you were mad!
I agree with Eddie. Of course there are outposts that will always be the exception but like it or not our planet is getting smaller and the way to deal with problems in the long run is to address the inequalities and injustices that cause these great population shifts. Not permanently to pull up drawbridges everywhere
Well, Eddie the current situation isn't a great advert for a borderless Union. Is the Schengen Agreement still being revoked?
I think he's exaggerating by saying that this will be the case at "the end of the century", but there's every reason to believe that things are moving that way -- and, for that matter, that things should be moving that way, although that last is controversial I'll admit. Thing is though that I think there should be a discussion about it rather than dismissing it as "loony". I mean, why not? The ideas behind it aren't that unreasonable -- I am English, you are French, he is American and they are Africans, but we are all human, and we ought to try to avoid being too concerned about fairly artificial separations between people.

Having said all that, I wouldn't want to force it, particularly at the moment. The world isn't yet ready for such an idea.

we will leave followed by the twists and the firesides, game over. Nations may merge later but not using the flawed approach of the EU.
He assumes much as he looks to reintroduce the communist manifesto.

Just guessing but he, El Jel and all their minions will be more equal than the rest of us I suppose.
Well if John McDonnells thoughts should come true then surely there would be no point in any of the EU countries having their own governments.
I constantly ask myself NOW who is actually governing my country!!!
You keep going on about the flawed approach of EU, TTT. But you haven't come up with a financially stable alternative. Anyone can criticise.
Just one of the implications which means this is unlikely to happen any time soon Tony. And I'm counting the end of the century as 'soon'.
And I'm counting the end of the century as 'soon'.

So am I, Zacs.
Other things to consider: monetary union / the effect on trade / how will the GDP of, say, Uzbekistan be equated with that of, say, Germany. Not to mention freedom of movement and the problems were already seeing. Old Mcdonell is advocating his airy fairy version of communism again.
Privilege, and Capitalism rely of Property Rights, cash and Real Estate, and those with these will defend them to their selfish end.

So far there is no such thing as 'birth canal Rights', so exiting the Royal birth canal endows certain advantages, as Western birth canals also endow to a lesser extent.

This 'chance of fate' may not exist by the end of this century, possibly long before.
True 'Equality' is unpalatable to the hypocrites.
True equality is a fantasy. But thanks for bringing up two other major obstacles: Sovreignty and personal wealth.
