As an aside, I note the hard working families doing the right thing has run it's course and we are now assailed with 'our brave armed forces' at every possible opening.
Our armed forces are brave, there's no denying that but they're not there to be made a slogan by a lying, cheating, underfunding politician who desperately needs his place in history, whatever the cost.

Not for the first time (and almost certainly not the last) the PM has considered “playing to the gallery” to be more important than common sense and civility. He’s obviously been taking lessons from the Euromaniacs who treat anybody with a different point of view to them as traitorous racists.

I am in full agreement with Mr Corbyn – to brand those MPs who have a different point of view as “terrorist sympathisers” is utterly insolent. People have differing views and MPs are no different. They do not deserve insults for having the temerity to say what they think.

I only hope that following the vote (which will almost certainly go the PM’s way) that the extra eight aircraft being sent to RAF Akrotiri are well guarded. Regular readers may recall that a hundred or so refugees pitched up there a few weeks ago forming part of the mayhem, chaos and infighting that Europe is allowing to be imported wholesale to its shores. There has been no announcement that that have left the base yet and they may well find a way to spread a few tin-tacks on the runway. :-)

It will be interesting to see if the RAF makes any difference to the capabilities of IS. A year of bombing thusfar seems to have had very little impact.

He's out of step with his own Foreign minister then (just like the poor old labour party) who said that he absolutely respected, if he did not agree with, those who oppose military action on a matter of principle. Plainly JC is not a "terrorist sympathiser" and I find it hard to believe that Cameron actually believes so.

Has Cameron no idea of the meaning of "pacifist" ? You can disagree with war on all counts, until the enemy is actually at the door and you have to fend him off. Which doesn't apply here. And won't.
