I have a folder on mi desktop which has lots of shortcuts . I find this folder very handy. Since I "upgraded " to W 10 I can no longer right click on a website and send to desktop./(From there I used to drag the icon into the folder) With W 10 , how can I do this. ??? Chris

Does right click, save as - save to desktop work?
Well, it worked for me in Windows 10
I don't use Windows 10 but the following method for creating a desktop shortcut works with Firefox in Windows 7. It should also work with other versions of Windows (including, I assume, Windows 10) and, indeed, with most other browsers:

Go to the relevant website.
Click the overlapping squares at the top right of your screen to make the window smaller (so that you can then see part of the desktop at the same time).
Click on the tiny icon immediately to the left of where it says 'www' in your browser's address bar and, while holding the mouse button down, drag it onto your desktop.
Oh gosh hp...know JUST how you feel...am really sorry I upgraded now...I have just put a question on AB,asking the same thing...did not see your`s till after.I am HATING Windows 10!!!
That works in W10 using Chrome, Chris :)
I am going daft...I mean I know how you feel grandpa
