This just in: woman trims hedges. Read all about it.
I chopped my Leylandi's down. Horrible things.

If it hadn't been JKR, or some other so-called celebrity it would never have made the News, wouldn't have been mentioned outside the immediate area,
must be a very slow newsday!
The main bone of contention isn't the cutting of the trees - it seems it is the time it is taking and the traffic lights being very slow to change causing traffic build ups.

No that would have been false reporting J K Rowling didn't actually trim the hedges herself.

Judging By Their Location How Else Could J K Rowling's Trees Be Trimmed?

With a chain saw, horrible things.
Nice one Douglas! :-)
Ms Rowling is a well-known author, although from what I can see, she does absolutely nothing to court media attention.

Plenty of people have leylandi hedges that need trimming - only famous people's hedges make 'news'.

As advised, it seems that the issue is with the traffic lights and that is not within Ms Rowling's control.

Indeed, she was eventually unmasked as Robert Galbraith!
