Just been to pick up my groceries on click and collect.I was told there were no substitutes and yet I noticed 2 items were different to what I had ordered. The guy took them off me and told me to check my order on the computer when I got home which I did and lo and behold it shows the items I know I would never have ordered! I phoned Tesco and got nowhere. The woman I spoke to said there is no way that could happen and I have no way of proving her wrong but is there a way that if it's altered on their system, it changes it on your system? x

No - the confirmation email that you got from them is what has been ordered.

I can't understand it wolf, the items they sent I have never ordered in my life as I don't like either. It's very strange. x
When I first started getting deliveries I used to get random additions to my shopping and odd substitutions.

One of the delivery drivers told me that the person in the store shops for five or six customers at the same time - no doubt this is where the errors are made.

Did you phone the grocery number given on your paperwork? They are usually very good at sorting things out.

I use them because (1) I am lazy and (2) cat litter weighs a ton and there is no way that I could carry it up two flights of stairs to my flat.

You have to proof of what your order was - phone back and see what they say.

I like Tesco.
sometimes when the screen scrolls or reloads, the thing I think I clicked on is not where the cursor is and I find I have clicked on something else? does that make sense? it happens sometimes on here with the ads. Its the only way I can think of that the item got on your confirmation email.

Thanks wolf and woof.I honestly don't know how it's happened but having spoken to a neighbour of mine about it, he has suggested I do a 'print screen' or something when I've finished my order, he will show me how to do it.x

I have found lately with Tesco that although I have said no substitutions, substitutions are turning up and turning up as subs on the paperwork. You can send them back of course but its a faff having to check through stuff at the door. Most annoying.
