We hear much from our media and politicians, that these are peace loving Muslims who have been brainwashed via the internet or by some radicals or others.
Well judging by this excerpt from the the Mannan family statement, this was the sole choice made by one of these so called peaceful Muslim families.

But having read this again, are there not thousands of Muslims from all corners of the world that are crossing over land and sea everyday to come to Europe, and all we provide for them?

You and I were recently accused of paranoia and running scared of these people by an idiot now gone. I was accused because I said I viewed all and any with suspicion.
Why, then on answerbank,is it shock,horror,who would of thought it etc (from some less enlightened) when a whole family in UK upstumps to join their heroes in Syria.It has happened before and it will happen again. I will continue to be on my guard against those I believe are a potential threat and will happily take the flak, from the naive, for doing so.
