True but it is suggested he giving all his fortune away which if true is more than most of us would contemplate. I guess he has rich relatives who'll support him afterwards. Amazing thing for someone to do.

It was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek post OG.
// The money would be used to "foster cultural understanding", "empower women", and "provide vital disaster relief", among other things, he said. //

'Empower women'? Interesting concept from a Saudi Prince.

If you read the link through, it says that he will still have revenue from his ownership of Kingdom Holding. So he won't need to rely on those rich relatives, OG. If there is such a thing as 'Heaven', i guess he's just paid his entry fee.
We have to support this chap. $32bn is an awful lot of money. The Gates Foundation has done remarkable work over he years...lets hope his chap's dosh will do the same !

If he could just see the way to pay off my mortgage first though....
Ah I was going not so much by the link as the text teletext from the BBC. I'd already been aware of the news story.
Saudi Islamic Charities have funded alqarda and IS in the past. Hope none of it trickles to the fanatics.
