I have just spoken to a good friend, who goes to Greece once or twice a year, either to Cephalonia or Zakynthos. In fact, he is due to go there again this weekend. He has never seen any sign of economic problems when he is there. There appears to be no shortage of essential items, like food or petrol. I guess being an island it might not be the same as on the mainland.

It will cause no problems at all - we visit Greece regularly/have greek friends and most things stay the same for visitors.
