How is Hamas not a terror organisation? Looks like the FOJ has it's tentacles everywhere!

Seems like a lot of guff designed to enrich lawyers while leaving everything as it was.
It is a bit of an admission that they put Hamas on a terrorist list because they had read about them in the newspapers. Newspaper reports have a habit of being inaccurate, biased or misleading.

Presumably when they have looked into what Hamas are up to, they will be banned again.

I am frightened to ask, what is FoJ?
sums up the meddling eussr....how else can they keep all those useless unwanted, uneeded bureaucrats busy unless they have them wasting their time on pish like this...and being paid by you !

the thin end of the wedge......shame they cant actually do anything useful

hamas are just another bunch of murderous terrorists who have a habit of using civilian shields...
^ You mean 'heroic freedom-fighters', Baz?
You need to brush up on yer AB terminology. ;)
Hamas leads a democratically elected government, fighting against an oppressor (Israel) which refuses to abide by international law. I support Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for Israel to be totally wiped from the map.

Wow Chris, looks like we have found the commander in chief of the FOJ!
When you report 'Abusive Content' does the report go straight to the ABed or do the moderators see it as well?
Hamas can probably be labelled as a terrorist organisation.

But Israel is a rogue state.

If anything, the rogue state is ahead in the atrocities committed category.
Svejk,
Moderators do not see reports on posts. Do you feel Chris's Answer should be removed? I am a moderator and I could remove it, but I will not.
He said Isreal should be removed from the map, which is not the same as annilated. Removed from the map just means their statehood should be recinded. In view of Israel's repeated ateocities, I could support that.
And if Israel was ever forced to return the lands it has stolen since its formation in the 1940s it wouldn't be a viable state.
I can't bring myself to report it. I suppose I think people are entitled to their opinions, no matter how obnoxious. Also, leaving comments in place lets other people know what they're dealing with.
Strange, though, when you consider the innocuous comments that get removed on a daily basis.
Did anyone answer the question "what is "FOJ" "
Just curious :-)
I seem to recall it was "Friends of something or other" ...
Mind you I will lose no sleep over it

"He said Isreal should be removed from the map, which is not the same as annilated. Removed from the map just means their statehood should be recinded. In view of Israel's repeated ateocities, I could support that. " - well there's a disciple! come on Gromit he even quoted the originator that agreed with and I don't think Armadinajad was talking about cartography! here is what Beunchico said: " I support Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for Israel to be totally wiped from the map. " the word "removed" as not in there gromit, your blind hatred of Israel is fogging your judgement here.

FOJ = Freinds Of Jihad, 2 very high up members in this very thread!
Oh friends of jihad right :-)
And two of them on this very thread
Mercy me and lawks alive
Damn dangerous place this Answerbank :-)
By the way, Im-a-dinnerjacket never actually said that thing about wiping Israel of the map. A complete mis-translation. And he was quoting someone else.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's actual quote was...

// "Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad." //

Which translated directly to English as

// "The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time". //

No mention of "Isreal" the country, no mention of "wiped of"f and no mention of "map". So the quote commonly attributed to him is completely wrong.
Sorry gromit,
No back pedalling please. I think anyone with half a brain would realise that "Israel should be wiped off the map" is a statement of hopeful annihilation of that country. I find that offensive in the extreme, but, like Svejk I am not one to show how offended I am and howl for abusive content to be removed. As he says it is useful to know what people we are debating with here for future reference. As ,you ,an unbiased moderator I think some one was having a laugh.
I would just say for all points of equality,if Israel said Palestine should be removed from the map??
I think the literal translation sounds more sinister than the freer version :-)
Question Author
Gromit, I'm impressed with you skill at back peddling, ever thought of joining the circus?
Looks like some have shown their true colours here.
