Blimey when I read this headline I thought that Cameron himself was going to get stuck in.

Another misleadingly spun headline from the Daily Mail. That newspaper should be ashamed of itself.
Yes, Captain Cameron to the cockpit!
WHY Naomi,
Sorry, I should have said ‘another misleading report’.

//It comes amid claims that ministers have delayed any decision to join US airstrikes on ISIS until after Thursday’s Scottish independence referendum. //

Whose claims? The decision is nothing to do with the Scottish Referendum. Read the link.

/// But Mr Cameron has yet to convince Labour MPs that Britain should be involved in military action against ISIS. The PM is desperate to avoid a repeat of last year's vote against airstrikes on Syria when Ed Miliband pulled Labour's support for military action at the last minute. ///

/// A Labour source said: 'Labour is wiling to be persuaded on air strikes. But it has not been persuaded yet.' ///

Could it be that he doesn't want to upset Scotland's Labour vote?

I’m not sure I understand you, AOG. Scotland will be voting on the independence issue on Thursday, but if the ‘Yes’ vote wins, it won’t suddenly be independent on Friday.
Cameron in a fight ? three times he has refused to have a public debate with the SNP.

He would not even do a ice bucket challenge.
