Reports today suggest that the latest refugee camp in Calais was doe to be bulldozed today:-
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2715038/Calais-crisis-UK-bound-migrants-As-riot-police-prepare-raze-makeshift-camp-tensions-reach-boiling-point.html

but it's just been reported that the prefecture of Nord-Pas-De-Calais have defer the action, so that the camp residents can be appraised of their rights and opportunities to claim asylum in France:-
http://www.lavoixdunord.fr/region/calais-le-prefet-n-evacuera-pas-les-squats-de-migrants-ia33b48581n2307423

any guesses as to the responses of the camp residents - will it be "oh that's alright then, where do I sign?", or, something else?

Once in France as asylumn they will be able to travel here, and of course will be welcpmed by the righton brigade who love spending other peoples money to further their political agenda
If anyone is interested here is what the French report said:

Calais: the prefect did not will unload the squats of migrants before several weeks

The prefect of the not-to-Calais has met the press this Monday morning to speak about the situation of migrants in Calais. He announced two decisions. First, it will not evacuate all of suite the squat Vandamme and the "jungle" of the industrial area of the Dunes: he wishes that migrants can be informed, first on their possibilities of accommodation and request asylum in France. Second decision: it has achieved the establishment of a half-company of CRS for additional to cope with the influx of migrants to the port of Calais.

The prefect gave "extra time" to migrants installed in the main squats of Calais (on the site of Tioxide and in the city center, on the site of the former factory Vandamme): "I wish that they should be first informed of the various alternatives available to them in terms of asylum applications, requests for return to the country and to requests for emergency accommodation", said Denis Robin.

Agents of the French Office for immigration and integration (OFII) and of the Departmental Directorate of social cohesion (DDCS) will be on the ground this Tuesday, as well as next Friday and "Wednesday of weeks that follow " " to go to the meeting of migrants and to inform them that there are other solutions open to them". Only then, the two sites will be evacuated by the use of public force.

As a reminder, before the evacuation of 2 July already, the prefect had put in place this device. But little of migrants had benefited and the operation was emerged clearly as a failure.

A half-company of CRS in more than

the other announcement made by the prefect this Monday for the port of Calais, faced with an influx of migrants in recent weeks: "I am very sensitive to the situation", said Denis Robin, notably the fact that it strongly affect the attractiveness of the port from carriers and exporters. For reminder, a brawl broke out this night yet between migrants - "between 100 to 150 " - present in the industrial area of Dunes, not far from the port: she has been 16 wounded. After Denis Robin, " the CRS intervened three times to separate groups of migrants who clashed without doubt in logic of territory".

The prefect therefore announcing that, to cope with this situation of tension, it has obtained from the minister of the Interior Bernard Cazeneuve has "additional reinforcements" to "increase the port surveillance and that of bypass roads to access ". Reinforcements who will now mobilized" for the entirety of the night, which was not the case up here". A half-company of CRS (40 men) therefore intervene in more of the resources already in place. But Denis Robin also repeat that the responsibility is collective in this case: the port including must strengthen its security measures and the carriers must ensure better to close their heavy weight.
Yes we once had the greatest Empire ever known, and we lead the world in invention and industry, look at our country now, all due to mass immigration policies, since the second word war.

Our Victorian forefathers would turn in their graves, to see their Great Britain now.
I read last week about a lorry load of illegal immigrants who were found in Calais after escaping from England in the back of a lorry - they were sent back to Dover!
